7 Questions With Vint Mentalz

What
made you join the RMR family?

Way before there even was
Revolt Motion... Saturn, ATMA  and I
already had a strong brotherly pact.My family here has never came false, no
gimmicks only realness, so when this movement was first getting started and
they gave Vint a invitation to join I was pretty much like shit, I'm already
in.

 Who
has been your favorite artist to work with?

The ones I came up with
honestly... I can't just say one.

 Artists like ATMA, Sick
Since and Rook Da Rukus I have always been down and will remain till the box
for what we have all been through in this 'realm' so far and we still
grinding.I have much more in the works with some more known underground names
that have showed nothing but support and love for Vint as well such as Chief
Kamachi, Sean Strange, Guilty Smiles, Son Of Saturn, Canibus and many more.

Do you remember making your first beat? How did it make you feel?
What inspired you to keep going?

Only inspiration here...
sorry for not answering the others cause Vint honestly don't remember and
rightfully so. I came into life with a musical mind and soul... my father and
his father before him was building music every since they're fingers found
strings. They taught themselves everything on they're own just as I have done
with my music and art.

You are married, i know recently you produced a track for your wife "ripping
out heartstrings" the track is beautiful Btw, Are all your tracks personal
like this? Is there a story behind them?

 This one is honestly hard
for me to talk about but I will give you a piece of Vint's mind

just for my family here
at RMR... Everytime I make a composure or instrumental I ain't just sitting
there banging out drums and 'looping' sounds. While other 'producers' can put
out ten beats a week I am not them.My work is made different, while they step
into the lab I open a door to a empty room with nothing but a closet, have the
door locked from the opposite side.I won't go into detail but for everything I
compose or as others say 'produce' I live through, it is all too real, draining
energy to the point of where I have ripped off my very headphones and straight
fucking puked... but yet I still don't step out that room till I am done with
my work for that is when the lock on the other side finally lets me out.

"Ripping Out Heartstrings" - I definitely did not make it for Jus Allah so you do the
science... enough said.

Who are your influences, musical, artistic , spiritual or political and why?

My influences consist of mainly my little tribe and the young future period,
I see the world and how fucked it's getting and realize they are to struggle with us.
They don't deserve the'food' they are being fed but must eat it to survive.
I know I am not a role model nor do I wanna be one.
Other major influence consist of real life, hate, love, war, peace, this fucked world and way too
much...
I don't wanna talk bout that no more, next question please.

Whats one thing someone could never guess about you?

For ten years before I even stepped into the musical 'realm' I stepped into octagons fighting MMA
fighters such as "Hands Of Steel" Mark Coleman, Brock Lesner and graced sqaured circles at
some of the biggest venues with Bret Hart, John Cena, Batista, AJ Styles,Honkey Tonk Man, Hacksaw Jim Duggan and
way too many more to name.
But fuck, I can't forget that match with the Insane Clown Posse for they are for real 'clowns' and need to never step near me in a
physical situation ever again.
The best memory from traveling doing all that fighting and wrestling was the moment the Iran Sheik
blessed my daughter while she was in my Queens womb.

This blog is for your supporters, what is your message to them?

"MAN UP! Cut your
fucking head off and keep walking...

HEAD IN FUCKING HAND!!!"-6/28/1983
